Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Internet Sales Director to lead and grow our online sales department. This role requires a hands-on leader who understands digital lead management, process optimization, team development, and performance tracking. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Internet Sales team to drive traffic, appointments, and sales volume
- Oversee all incoming digital leads from website, OEMs, third-party platforms, and social media
- Develop, implement, and refine internet sales processes and CRM best practices
- Monitor lead response times, appointment set/show rates, and closing ratios
- Train, coach, and hold the team accountable for performance and customer experience
- Collaborate with Sales Managers, Marketing, and Leadership to align internet strategy with dealership goals
- Analyze data, reports, and KPIs to improve efficiency and results
- Ensure consistent, professional communication across all online customer touchpoints
- Drive continuous improvement in lead quality, conversion, and follow-up strategy
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive internet sales or digital sales leadership
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, lead sources, and online consumer behavior
