Automotive Finance Manager

Honda of Jefferson City is seeking an experienced, driven, and customer-focused Finance Manager to join our growing team. While previous automotive finance experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a desire to build a successful career in the automotive industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding customers through the financing and vehicle protection product process while ensuring compliance, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Present and explain finance and insurance products to customers.
• Secure financing through lenders and financial institutions.
• Structure deals to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and dealership regulations.
• Maintain relationships with lending institutions and finance sources.
• Review customer credit applications and identify financing options.
• Achieve department performance goals for product penetration and profitability.
• Deliver a transparent, professional, and customer-focused experience.
• Work closely with sales management to facilitate smooth vehicle deliveries.
• Stay current on lender programs, compliance requirements, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Finance Manager (F&I) experience preferred. But not necessary.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed finance and product sales goals.
• Strong knowledge of automotive lending, compliance, and dealership operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with dealership management systems and finance software.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Honda dealerships or import franchises.
• Knowledge of CDK, or similar dealership software.
