Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based at Honda Marysville Motorsports in Marysville, OH. The Sales Associate will greet and engage customers in the showroom, learn about their needs, and recommend appropriate Honda vehicles, equipment, and related products. Daily tasks include presenting product features and benefits, conducting test rides or walk-arounds as appropriate, preparing price quotes, and guiding customers through the sales and financing process. The role involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, keeping the showroom organized and visually appealing, and following up with prospective and existing customers to build long-term relationships. The Sales Associate will collaborate with service and finance teams, use dealership systems to manage leads and sales documentation, and contribute to achieving individual and store sales goals.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and provide clear, helpful guidance to a wide range of customers.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with strong verbal communication, professional demeanor, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Basic product knowledge and technical aptitude, with an interest in powersports, motorcycles, ATVs, or outdoor equipment and the willingness to learn detailed product features.
• Organization and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple customers, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate records in dealership systems.
• Comfort with point-of-sale and CRM or dealership software, and basic computer literacy (email, web-based tools, and digital documentation).
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or automotive/powersports sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as needed, and to stand and move around the showroom for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and the ability to safely operate motorcycles and other Honda products where test rides or demonstrations are part of the role.
