ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
- System development project management, including preparing the scope and estimate documents.
- Participate in System Development activities, including design documents, quality checks, IT testing, and user Testing.
- Present project status with milestones to IT management.
- Accomplish activities of planning and coordination between IT and operations.
- Promotes teamwork across all organizations; develops self-direction and collaborates with others about company goals to achieve shared objectives
- Justifying, designing, testing, implementing, and validating system functionalities.
- Communicate and oversee the implementation of software deliveries.
- Develop and maintain the Project schedule.
- Propose, plan, and implement supply chain and material handling innovation systems.
- Evaluate system change points with risk assessments and readiness confirmations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain focus on critical path items.
- Create system operation manuals and test scripts.

Required
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Industrial, logistics, or other related engineering field with work-related experience or applicable experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of GCCS file structure and functionalities.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft products.
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) & Yard Management System (YMS) knowledge
- Honda Global Production Control System (GPCS) experience or other production ordering systems
- Knowledge in data analysis utilizing tools such as Python, SQL, or other applicable applications
- Ability /proven record of developing customer-forward data/analytics packages (Large Data sets on short notice)
- Knowledge in research development
- Project management knowledge
- Work will primarily take place in an office environment
- Exposure to a warehouse/production environment
