About this Position:
Technical Translation & Interpretation (TTI) of ADC provides accurate simultaneous interpretation efficiently to HDMA, 4MOC, AHM, HM, HRI, etc. to support global Honda to make effective strategy and execute efficient development to develop excellent products to enhance car sales, keeping QCDE&E (Quality, Cost, Delivery and Efficiency/Effectiveness).
Responsibilities include:
- Learn Honda R&D terminology (ADC & 4MOC) including terms often used at Honda plants, sales, advanced research, etc. to provide satisfactory interpretation on a regular basis with and without preparation.
- Learn how to use equipment to provide simultaneous interpretation onsite and remotely
- Master the internal procedures on time tracking for items such as interpretation hours, prep time.
- Help and train inexperienced associates/contingents to for them improve their skills
- Be ready to go on business trips whenever needs arise to provide quality interpretation
- Translate documents when necessary
Required Work Experience:
- Approx. 10-year experiences with a degrees.
Required Education:
- BA in any subject matters and MA in linguistic field if available
Desired skills:
- Computer skills for standard Microsoft and some experiences in Trados or machine translation
