- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor scrubbers.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery or specialized areas when required.
- Assist with custodial duties related to facilities maintenance, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Support light maintenance activities such as minor repairs or painting to keep the environment in optimal condition.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure efficient operations.
- Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and maintenance activities for accountability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work within commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment like floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
