Position Summary
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for on‑site equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, customer training, and supporting engineering activities related to product improvement and New Product Introduction (NPI). This role requires strong hands‑on technical skills, problem‑solving capability, and flexibility to support overseas assignments when needed.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform on‑site equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance (PM), and troubleshooting.
· Deliver customer training to ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance.
· Support overseas travel for equipment installation, troubleshooting, or project-related activities.
· Execute machine improvement projects and option configuration tasks.
· Identify issues, provide timely feedback, and prepare technical reports and documentation.
· Conduct engineering problem analysis and participate in NPI activities.
· Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, field service, or semiconductor/automation equipment support (preferred).
· Strong hands‑on troubleshooting and technical problem‑solving skills.
· Effective communication skills for customer interaction and training delivery.
· Ability to work under a rotating shift schedule at the customer site.
· Willingness to travel overseas when required.
· Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of preparing clear technical reports.
· Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across engineering and customer teams.
Language Requirement
Must possess effective Chinese communication skills to ensure clear and efficient collaboration with Taiwan‑based R&D teams.
