PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The Post Closing Specialist reviews closed loan files to determine if the loan meets company and investor guidelines prior to shipping the file to an investor.

Job Title: Post Closing Specialist
Department: Credit
Reports To: Post Closing Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The Post Closing Specialist reviews closed loan files to determine if the loan meets company and investor guidelines prior to shipping the file to an investor.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Works with various parties (internal and external) to obtain needed documentation to cure/resolve all items that affect the insurability/salability of the loan in a timely manner
- Shipping and delivery of loans to investors including third parties, FNMA, FHLMC
- Insuring of FHA, VA and PMI loan products
- Responsible for making sure file are in purchasable condition and shipped prior to the lock expiration date
- Create and maintain a pipeline report to ensure all loans shipped are either condition or purchased in a timely manner
- Monitor daily condition reports from the investor for updates on suspended loans or new conditions as received
- Meet monthly purchased loan goals as determined by management
- Detail oriented and committed to the highest quality

- Strong Knowledge in working with all Microsoft Office tools
- Working knowledge of Non-QM, Government, and Agency Guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience with recent post close experience
- This position is in an office setting with computer and general office equipment. The position requires the ability to move freely around within the department and other department locations
