What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at HOMEX Services Group?
You're not looking for a dead-end desk job.
You want steady hours, clear pay, and a team that actually talks to each other.
You want your work to matter when someone's heat is out or plumbing goes sideways.
If you're calm under pressure and like helping people fast, keep reading.
Who We Are
Homex Services helps create safe, comfortable homes for families. As a Dispatcher here, you're part of the team that keeps that promise real when homeowners need help now.
We're big on open communication, strong onboarding, and a supportive office where people work together. This isn't just a paycheck role. It's a place to build a career with a friendly team that cares about growth and community.
What You'll Be Doing
Your day moves fast. You'll be in the office, on the phone, helping homeowners through urgent issues like no heat, plumbing problems, or drain trouble. You'll stay organized, keep things moving, and help bring calm to stressful moments.
You'll work in an open floor plan with easy communication across dispatch and the call center. That means you're never on an island. You'll have visible teamwork, shared goals, and a real sense that your voice matters.
This role feels good when you like order, urgency, and helping people. You show up, solve problems, support the team, and go home knowing families are safer and more comfortable because you stayed sharp.
The Hiring Process
We have a rigorous process for hiring, but move FAST for the right person. You could be hired in as little as 10 days! We've had lots of interest, so the first few steps are automated to make sure you can get considered quickly.
Don't worry—if you take the time to apply, we will respond to 100% of the applicants.
The process:
- Click apply and answer a few Who, What, When questions. (5 min)
- You'll be texted a link for a 10 min questionnaire that will help match you to the job (or others that might suit you!).
- You'll get a text for a quick 1-way video question. (5 min)
- We'll send you a link to get scheduled for an in-person interview.
- You can easily be in for an interview within a couple days from right now.
What You'll Earn
You'll earn $23/hour for a full-time 40-hour schedule. You'll also have a path to grow through continuous training and development inside a larger organization, so this can become more than just your next job.
Why Work With Us
You'll get PTO, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, long-term disability, paid life insurance, and FSA/HSA options.
You'll also get something harder to find: a team that cares about culture, onboarding, and how people are treated from day one. Think open communication, collaboration, weekly recognition, contests, spirit weeks, and a friendly office that doesn't feel cold or disconnected.
This is not for someone who wants to hide, avoid teamwork, or treat every call like a number. It is for someone who wants to contribute, be dependable, and grow with a company that actually notices effort.
Who We're Looking For
You'll do well here if you're dependable, coachable, organized, and good on the phone. You should be comfortable onsite, able to handle a fast-paced service environment, and open to a flexible rotating schedule that includes weekends and some holidays.
- You stay steady when things get busy.
- You communicate clearly and like working with a team.
- You care about helping homeowners through urgent problems.
- You want a career path, not just a paycheck.
- You should not apply if you need a fixed Monday-Friday schedule or don't want onsite office work.
- Previous dispatch experience is required for this position. Applicants without prior dispatch experience will not be considered.
If that sounds like you, apply now. Good dispatchers are hard to find, and this team will know your value fast.
