Internal Operations Coordinator, Internship/Temporary
Position Type: Part-time hourly position. Hybrid work environment.
Job Summary:
The Internal Ops Coordinator (internally called HES Internal Operations Coordinator) is responsible for scheduling jobs for the Home Energy Specialists (HES)/HESIE technicians and will assist with the Income Eligible application process.
Essential Functions:

1. Customer Focus:
a. Schedule Home Energy Assessments (HEAs) via phone and email, addressing client inquiries related to assessments and EnergizeCT Program.
b. Manage appointment software entries.
c. Contact and confirm appointments with leads from various sources, rescheduling as necessary.
d. Follow up with customers to resolve barriers from previous appointments and schedule assessment completion.
e. Assist with identifying and filling last minute openings on the schedule as appropriate
2. Income Eligible (IE) Applications:
a. Determine customer eligibility for IE applications and guide through application process.
b. Send required documents and follow up on application status.
c. Provide ongoing support via phone and email to address customer questions or schedule technician assistance.
d. Coordinate project submissions and approvals with utilities.
3. Perform additional tasks as required.
Education & Experience:
· Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or related experience.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, SalesForce experience a plus.
· Experience with utility systems (eTrack, Tracksys) a plus.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to multitask effectively and work well within a team.
· Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This is an individual contributor position with no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
· Office Environment: This position is primarily based in an open office environment with typical office conditions; however, may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting. Currently 1-2 days remote.
· Hybrid position: This position is a flexible work model that combines remote and on-site work. When working remotely, the employee is required to have a workspace free of distraction during work hours to perform job duties.
Physical Demands:
Requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time, performing tasks on a computer, the ability to move within the office to attend meetings, access equipment, or interact with colleagues.
