Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities:Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staffRespond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hoursAssist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative mannerHandle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfactionManage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance proceduresQualifications:You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance roleThe ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is requiredDriver’s license and clean driving record is mandatoryAbility to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferredExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessaryAbout CompanyOff I-440, we're steps from Crabtree Valley Mall and three miles from the North Carolina Museum of Art.
