Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests during breakfast service. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring cleanliness, assisting with food preparation and maintaining/upkeep of all breakfast standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to service, ensuring all food items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Communicate effectively with guests to provide information about menu items and assist with any special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including cooking items according to established recipes and standards.
- Buss tables promptly after guests finish their meals to ensure a clean dining environment for incoming guests.
- Collaborate with catering staff to support any special events or large group breakfasts as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and catering services is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cash handling is beneficial.
