Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel financial transactions, including billing, payments, and account adjustments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experiences.
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV footage, conducting property inspections, and controlling access to secure areas of the hotel.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and assisting guests or staff as needed.
- Prepare detailed shift reports outlining financial summaries, guest activities, incidents, and operational notes for management review.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight facility issues swiftly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; previous night audit experience is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to handle guest relations professionally.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems; familiarity with resort or hotel environments is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for financial accuracy and security procedures.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high energy levels and motivation.
