Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or communal areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Conduct floor care activities such as carpet cleaning, buffing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas regularly.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests or residents.
• Respond promptly to special cleaning requests or urgent sanitation needs with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or housekeeper management is a plus.
• Skills in various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward residents or guests.
• Basic knowledge of laundry processes and equipment operation.
• Prior experience with hospitality or hotel housekeeping is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
