The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Sioux Falls is now hiring for reliable Front Desk super star including weekends. This opportunity has possibility for advancement. We are looking for an outgoing, fun and friendly front desk agent who enjoys taking care of people. Our ideal candidate would be able to work 8 hour shifts, weekend shifts and some holidays. He/She is responsible for maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times; welcoming and serving guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone. As part of this job, this individual is required to: demonstrate good computer skills; accurately handle cash and charges; stand for long periods of time; present friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service oriented demeanor; supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest; follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Some laundry, sanitizing and cleaning the lobby as well as performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. This job has potential for advancement opportunities!
Requirements:-High School graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate-Computer basic arithmetic-Must have good understanding of the English language-Good communication skills both verbal and written-Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor-Previous Hilton experience as a Front Desk Agent preferred but not required. Must be able to life 30 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and work in a fast paced environment-Must be available most WEEKENDS and may include HOLIDAYS.
