Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotel’s standards of hospitality.
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to keep all surfaces looking their best.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens to ensure guest comfort and convenience.
- Follow established health and safety protocols during all cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Support janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks as needed to maintain overall facility cleanliness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is preferred.
- Prior hotel or janitorial experience will help you excel in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for collaborating effectively with colleagues.
