Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, hallways, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure floors are properly cared for through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff
- Follow established safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery to promote a safe work environment
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures and infection control practices
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or required by management
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout your shift
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow all safety guidelines diligently
- Previous custodial or housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required
