Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join the Homewood Suites by Hilton hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming breakfast experience for our guests, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with food service operations. Must be available to work morning weekdays, weekends and holidays are required.
Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are stocked, fresh, and appealing
- Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking, slicing, and plating
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and buffet stations through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude, providing assistance as needed
- Clear tables and clean up after guests use
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices are beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently are essential
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in hotel or banquet settings can be an asset
- No prior experience required; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to develop their skills
