What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Breakfast Attendant - Part Time position at Homewood Suites by Hilton Charlotte/Ayrsley?
SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Breakfast Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, ensuring that our guests enjoy the complimentary breakfast every morning. The Breakfast Attendant provides assistance to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner in order to support the smooth operation of the Homewood Suites Charlotte Ayrsley.
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Greets guests with a warm, friendly smile. Serves guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
2. Clears tables during and following service.
3. Maintains a thorough knowledge of food offerings.
4. Remains up to date on hotel amenities and offerings, both at the hotel and within the surrounding area.
5. Ensures breakfast area and table set-ups are complete and performs various side duties as assigned.
6. Maintains proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.
7. Performs opening and closing procedures and side-work duties during shift. Ensures completion of F&B checklist activities during each shift.
8. Ensures that utensils, plates, and dining supplies are kept stocked, tidy and clean.
9. Breaks down trays of soiled dishes and utensils to be cleaned according to established standards.
10. Knows the location of fire extinguishers and knows how to use them. Is committed to maintaining safety standards for both guests and staff.
11. Communicates thoroughly with fellow teammates and leadership throughout shift.
12. Ensures overall guest satisfaction.
13. Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
14. Performs other duties as required within the scope of responsibility.
