We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Night Auditor to oversee overnight operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, guest records, and hotel security. This role is essential in maintaining seamless guest services during nighttime hours while upholding the highest standards of hospitality management. Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily revenue, occupancy, and other key hotel metrics for management review.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, assisting late arrivals and early check-outs with professionalism and warmth.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, inspecting premises, and controlling access to the hotel property.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing information as needed.
- Support guest services by addressing special requests or concerns with a positive attitude and proactive approach.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with night audit responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with guest relations practices, hotel security procedures, and phone etiquette standards.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
