Caregiver

Job OverviewWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, particularly seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety in a home environment.Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide patient care by monitoring health status and reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.
• Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation as needed.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including CPR techniques when necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience in senior care or home care is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting client privacy at all times.

Job Details

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
• Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Expected Hours: 10 – 40 per week
