Role Description The Home Care Aide is a full-time, on-site role based in San Jose, CA, providing direct support to clients in their homes or residential settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support. The Home Care Aide helps with household activities, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry, and may accompany clients to appointments or community activities as needed. Qualifications
- Strong caregiving and home care skills, with experience supporting clients in a residential or in-home setting.
- Ability to provide personal care, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Experience in elder care, including understanding of age-related needs, safety precautions, and compassionate support for older adults.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear communication, patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust with clients and families.
- Reliable transportation to client locations in San Jose, CA, and the ability to work a consistent full-time schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior home care or CNA/HHA experience or certification is preferred.
