Role Description
This part-time, on-site Caregiver role is based in Oak Ridge, TN, and involves providing compassionate, non-medical care to clients in their homes. Daily responsibilities include assisting with personal care tasks such as grooming and bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and providing companionship. Additionally, the Caregiver will support clients' mobility and monitor their overall well-being to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
Qualifications
- Strong abilities in providing personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
- Skills in light housekeeping, meal preparation, and performing household tasks
- Capacity to provide companionship and engage in meaningful social interaction
- Basic understanding of mobility assistance and ensuring client safety
- Effective communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to follow a care plan and adapt to clients' specific needs
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are highly desirable
