Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Home Care Provider role based in College Station, TX. The Home Care Provider supports clients in their homes with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance, following individualized care plans. Responsibilities include providing companionship, engaging clients in conversation and appropriate activities, and offering emotional support. The role also involves light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders (as permitted by policy), and safe transportation to appointments or errands when required. The Home Care Provider observes and reports changes in clients’ condition, collaborates with the office team and families, and maintains clear documentation and communication. Consistent reliability, adherence to safety and infection-control protocols, and respect for client privacy and cultural preferences are essential.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Caregiving and Elder Care experience, preferably in home-based or community settings.
- Skills in Home Care and Personal Care, including assistance with activities of daily living and promoting client safety and comfort.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills, including empathy, patience, active listening, and clear communication with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to follow care plans, document services accurately, and recognize when to report changes in client condition.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record when transportation support is required.
- Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings.
- High school diploma or equivalent; caregiver or home health aide training/certification is preferred.
- Availability to work a consistent full-time schedule, which may include some evenings or weekends based on client needs.
