Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a strong understanding of resident rights. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, administering medication, and ensuring their overall well-being in a comfortable home environment.
Caregiver Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Develop and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting clients safely when necessary.
- Support clients with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Uphold resident rights by ensuring dignity, respect, and privacy during all interactions.
Administrative Responsibility:
- Scheduling: Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules to ensure consistent and reliable client coverage.
- Client and Caregiver Records: Maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between clients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication.
- Office Support: Handle general office tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, and organizing files.
