Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient environment by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building interior maintenance will be essential to support our operational excellence. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and building interior components to ensure continuous operation.
- Repair electrical equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools.
- Conduct welding and carpentry tasks for facility repairs or upgrades, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical panels, and mechanical devices using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment, or mechanical failures to identify root causes quickly.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects and general building interior maintenance to uphold facility aesthetics.
- Support maintenance painting, repairs, and operations (MRO) activities with attention to safety standards and quality control.
- Collaborate with team members on large repair projects requiring leadership skills or supervising experience.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities and document work performed accurately.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles within manufacturing or residential environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics and electrical work is essential.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as HVAC system troubleshooting and repair.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for repairs.
- Experience working with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to perform welding, carpentry, painting, and general building interior maintenance tasks effectively.
- Supervising or leadership experience preferred but not required; capable of guiding junior team members when needed.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks effectively across teams and document work clearly.
