Position Overview
The Senior Vice President of Operations will serve as the principal operational leader of Hometown Health, responsible for the seamless execution of strategy across all 33 clinic locations and four service lines. This is a succession-track role designed for an executive who is ready to step into the Chief Operating Officer position as the organization scales.
The ideal candidate is a charismatic, highly organized, and detail-oriented leader who thrives in a high-speed, high-growth environment and brings deep expertise in multi-site healthcare operations, integrated care models, and innovative care delivery. A defining priority for this role is the design and operational launch of Hometown's healthcare model.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will bring 8 to 10 years of progressive senior healthcare operations experience, with a demonstrated track record of managing multi-site clinic networks. Deep familiarity with at least two of the following service lines is required: Urgent Care, Primary Care, Occupational Health, or Behavioral Health. Experience with or a strong working knowledge of subscription-based or Direct Primary Care (DPC) models is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Site Operational Leadership. Direct the daily operations of 33 clinics across Ohio, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and patient experience standards are maintained across all locations. Establish and monitor KPIs including NPS, door-to-door time, ER referral rates, and clinic profitability.
- Service Line Expansion. Accelerate the development and rollout of Hometown Primary Care and the integration of Behavioral Health services. Lead the operational planning, provider recruitment coordination, and community outreach strategies for new service line launches. Oversee the expansion of onsite and near-site employer clinic programs.
- Hometown Health Model Implementation. Operationalize Hometown's health model providing integrated, tech enabled value-based care health model.
- Strategic Execution. Serve as the CEO's primary operational partner, translating the vision for "Hometown Health" as an integrated population health platform into actionable, time-bound operational strategies. Represent operations leadership in payer negotiations, employer partnerships, and community health initiatives.
- People and Culture Leadership. Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Regional Directors and Clinic Managers. Foster a culture of accountability, speed, innovation, and excellence. Serve as a visible, engaging leader who inspires clinic teams across Ohio.
- Technology and Innovation. Partner with the technology team to implement and optimize AI-driven tools, including the AI agentic SMS platform, AI call system, and the forthcoming AI Scribe and chronic disease management platforms.
- Operational Ownership and Problem-Solving. Take full ownership of all operational functions, ensuring adherence to company policies while proactively identifying and resolving issues. Utilize strong decision-making skills to implement effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency and align with organizational goals.
