What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vending Route Driver position at Hometown Suburban Vending?
Hometown Suburban Vending is a company that offers a full line of vending services including snack, soda, food, and coffee. Hometown is currently looking for someone who is detail orientated and takes pride in what they do, we have multiple positions open for this route driver position.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- A 100% service first-attitude
- A self-starter
- Pays great attention to detail
- Has excellent time-management skills
- Takes the initiative without being told to do so
Some of the driver's requirements (but not limited to) are listed below:
- -Filling and cleaning vending machines
- -Effectively communicate with customers at each account
- -Regular machine physical counts and basic maintenance
- -Able to work independently, be responsible for their route
- - Must be able to work 5 to 6 days a week with early morning starts
- -Must be able to safely lift 50lbs
This position requires a clean driving record and a standard drivers license (CDL is not required). Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important in this position.
The routes are based off of commission, we guarantee $650 per week, any additional commission due will be paid out every four weeks.
