Job Title: Seasonal Property Inspector (Move-In/Move-Out)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Seasonal Property Inspector to assist during the busy summer leasing season. This position focuses primarily on conducting move-in and move-out property inspections, documenting property conditions, and assisting with related inspection research and administrative tasks.
This role includes both field work at rental properties and office-based review of inspection reports, photos, and documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, observant, and comfortable working independently while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections at residential rental properties
- Document property conditions through detailed notes and clear photographs
- Complete and submit inspection reports accurately and promptly
- Compare move-in and move-out reports to identify damages or changes
- Assist with research related to inspections, including reviewing leases, inspection forms, photos, and notes
- Coordinate with property management staff regarding inspection findings
- Maintain organized inspection records and documentation
- Enter inspection data and notes into internal systems
- Assist with reviewing work orders or past repairs when needed to verify property conditions
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Ability to work both in the field and in an office environment
- Comfortable documenting and reporting property conditions clearly
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with digital inspection reports
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Previous experience with property inspections, property management, maintenance, or housing inspections is a plus but not required
Schedule:
- Full-time seasonal position
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Expected duration: April/May through September/October
Compensation:
- $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
