Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and hygiene throughout the facility, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for guests, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices according to established standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and ensure all amenities are stocked and tidy.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, and floors.
- Remove trash and dispose of it properly in designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety regulations and maintain cleaning equipment properly.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with guests, visitors, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position.
- Single shift: Morning to Afternoon.
- Weekends and holidays required.
