Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and retail orders at the front counter or cashier station
- Operate POS systems and input customer orders in
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures
- Prepare simple food items when needed, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, including food handling stations and equipment
- Support food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting in kitchen operations when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or café environments is advantageous
- Retail sales experience including upselling techniques is desirable
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
