We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker to join our dynamic team and contribute to a variety of building projects. Duties
- Assist in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and cutting equipment to perform tasks like concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and masonry work
- Construct formwork and scaffolding for concrete pouring and reinforcement installation including rebar and metal stud framing
- Install various materials such as stucco, tile, flooring, trim carpentry, and plastering to enhance building aesthetics and functionality
- Conduct heavy lifting and material handling safely while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations
- Perform site preparation activities including demolition, restoration, renovation work, and site cleanup
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of construction work to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction workplace safety regulations
- Hands-on experience with blueprint reading and interpretation of technical specifications for various construction tasks
- Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, pouring, cutting, and concrete masonry techniques
- Knowledge of carpentry disciplines such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and restoration work
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like concrete mixers and pumps effectively
- Experience in masonry work including stucco application and tile laying is preferred
- Prior involvement in renovation projects or working on diverse construction sites is highly desirable
