We are seeking a detail oriented, customer focused Patient Coordinator who takes pride in delivering outstanding service and thrives in a fast paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate is a self starter with dental office experience who enjoys helping patients and supporting a collaborative team.
Position Overview
The Patient Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience. This position is responsible for managing patient scheduling, verifying insurance benefits, coordinating treatment plans, and providing exceptional front office support.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, positive first impression
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently
- Verify dental insurance benefits and communicate coverage clearly to patients
- Accurately enter and maintain patient information in the practice management system
- Coordinate treatment schedules and assist patients with understanding next steps
- Collect patient payments and review financial policies
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries professionally and courteously
- Maintain an organized and detail oriented front office environment
- Collaborate with clinical team to ensure seamless patient care
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a dental office required
- Experience verifying dental insurance benefits
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Self motivated with the ability to take initiative
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Positive attitude and team oriented mindset
- Proficiency with dental practice software is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
