Job Title: Dental Assistant / EFDA (Experienced)

​Position Overview

​We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and proactive Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong chairside skills, an ability to anticipate doctor needs, and a warm demeanor that helps patients feel comfortable and well cared for.

​Key Responsibilities

• ​Provide efficient, four-handed chairside dentistry for general procedures (restorative, crowns, endo, oral surgery).
• ​Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and strictly maintain infection control protocols.
• ​Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral impressions/scans.
• ​Maintain clear clinical notes and enter accurate treatment data into practice software.
• ​Communicate effectively with patients regarding post-operative care and treatment plans.
• ​Fabricate temporary crowns, nightguards, models, etc.

​Requirements (Mandatory)

• ​Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on chairside dental assisting experience required. (Candidates without previous clinical assisting experience will not be considered.)
• ​Current CPR / BLS Certification.
• ​Active X-ray Certification (or state-equivalent qualification).
• ​Strong understanding of dental terminology, tray setups, and clinical materials.
• ​Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking abilities

Note: we use Dentrix - familiarity is preferred but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
