Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate / Service Writer to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring an exceptional experience from the moment they walk in. You will assist with sales, write up service orders, communicate recommended repairs, and help keep daily shop operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming experience.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms or service needs.
- Prepare repair orders and clearly explain recommended services, estimates, and timelines.
- Assist with tire and service sales, helping customers choose the best options for their vehicle and budget.
- Communicate effectively between customers and technicians to ensure accurate and timely service.
- Process payments, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records.
- Support store cleanliness, product displays, and inventory as needed.
- Promote special offers, financing options (such as CFNA accounts), and warranty services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive retail sales, automotive service writing, or a related customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic automotive knowledge is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
- Computer and point-of-sale system experience.
- A positive attitude with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
