Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in healthcare settings such as Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or geriatrics. The caregiver will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities, medication management, and ensuring safety and comfort. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients of all ages, including elderly or disabled individuals
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks related to personal care and safety
- Coordinate with healthcare providers for appointments and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Ensure a safe living environment by identifying potential hazards and implementing safety measures
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Prior experience in healthcare settings such as Level I Trauma Centers, PICU, Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, or Post-acute care is highly desirable
- Experience working in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, outpatient clinics, or teaching hospitals is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
- Certification in CPR or first aid is a plus but not required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between client homes (if applicable)
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet health screening requirements
