Part-Time Cashier
Hometown Atlanta Wings is looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Part-Time Cashier to join our team!
Job Summary
The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking accurate in-person and call-in orders, processing payments, and helping maintain a clean and organized restaurant. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well with others, can handle a fast-paced environment, and is open to constructive feedback and learning.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Take accurate in-person and call-in orders
- Operate the POS/cash register and process cash and card payments
- Communicate orders clearly with the kitchen staff
- Answer customer questions and assist with menu selections
- Keep the front counter and customer areas clean and stocked
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and food-safety guidelines
Requirements
- Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to follow instructions and directions
- Must have good communication and customer-service skills
- Must work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
- Must be able to accept constructive criticism and feedback and be willing to learn and improve
- Must be available to work both opening and closing shifts
- Days and hours may vary based on business needs
- Previous cashier or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
