Role Description The Outside Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Carrollton, TX. This position is responsible for prospecting and generating new business with residential customers and home builders, presenting pest control solutions, and explaining the benefits of HomeTeam’s services and Taexx® system. The role includes conducting in-person sales calls, following up on leads, preparing proposals, and closing contracts. The specialist collaborates with branch and field service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers and maintains ongoing relationships to support retention and growth. Daily activities also involve maintaining accurate sales documentation, meeting sales targets, and representing the HomeTeam brand in the local community.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales skills, including prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing opportunities
- Customer Service experience, with a focus on building trust, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction
- Field Service familiarity, including working on-site, coordinating with service technicians, and understanding basic pest control offerings
- Account Management capabilities to maintain relationships, manage renewals, and identify upsell opportunities
- Training skills to educate customers on services and systems and to share product knowledge effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse customers and stakeholders
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently to meet defined sales goals
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally in the Carrollton, TX area
- Previous experience in residential services, pest control, or related industries is beneficial but not required
