Company Description
HomeTeam Homecare is a homecare agency that provides compassionate services through two main programs. Our Consumer Directed Services (CDS) allow patients to select their own caregiver, including family members or friends, who can be compensated for providing care. We also offer in-home care services, where professional Home Health Aides are provided for individuals who require assistance but do not have a caregiver. Our services are Medicaid-supported, but we offer private duty services as well. We are dedicated to ensuring that clients receive quality, personalized care within the comfort of their homes.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote Caregiver position. As a Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. You will provide companionship and transportation to appointments or errands as needed while adhering to care plans tailored to your clients. This role is designed to offer compassionate support to clients in maintaining their independence and overall well-being.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of meal preparation and maintaining a safe and clean living environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide compassionate client interaction and support
- Ability to follow care plans and provide dependable care with attention to individual needs
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for those providing transportation support
- Prior experience in a caregiving, healthcare, or home health setting is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory
- A caring, reliable, and empathetic approach to providing quality support for clients
