Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment
- Carry out low-voltage system installations and related repairs
- Apply mechanical skills to take apart and rebuild electronic assemblies
- Deliver on-site field service to customers, performing repairs and routine maintenance
- Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation to support diagnostics
- Keep detailed and accurate logs of service activities, parts consumed, and repairs completed
- Support computer networking needs when required, including basic setup and issue resolution
- Operate hand tools and specialized diagnostic/repair equipment to complete installations and fixes
Skills:
- Solid expertise in repairing and maintaining electronic systems
- Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and installation practices
- Strong mechanical ability for disassembling and reassembling electronic devices
- Prior experience as a service technician, ideally within the electronics or related field
- Skill in reading and understanding schematics, blueprints, and technical illustrations
- Competence in computer networking, with the ability to identify and resolve connectivity problems
- Understanding of computer hardware components and system configurations
- Proficiency with hand tools and precision equipment used in repair and installation work
- Sharp problem-solving abilities to quickly identify issues and implement effective fixes
