Production Manager

We are seeking a Production Manager for a rapidly growing meal service provider in Lewisburg, TN!

Homestyle Direct is a leading provider of pre-made meals for individuals who face challenges in feeding themselves. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our production processes, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of high-quality meals to our clients. As the central leadership figure, you will be responsible for leading a diverse workforce, driving growth, fostering personal and professional development, and maintaining adherence to strict process standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day food production operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Own daily production execution to ensure meals are produced on schedule, in full, and to specification
• Enforce SOPs, HACCP, GMPs, sanitation protocols, allergen controls, and quality standards
• Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and visual management across the production floor
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, downtime, and inefficiencies to improve throughput and flow
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, labor efficiency, yield improvement, and process consistency
• Partner with Quality and Food Safety teams on deviations, corrective actions, audits, and preventive measures
• Ensure accurate production, quality, and safety documentation and compliance with internal and external standards
• Collaborate with Scheduling, Inventory, Procurement, and Logistics to execute daily and weekly production plans
• Track and report KPIs including productivity, labor efficiency, yields, scrap, safety, quality, and on-time performance
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team leads while building accountability and strong floor leadership
• Support staffing, onboarding, training, engagement, and retention efforts in partnership with Site HR
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture with strong communication, accountability, and floor presence
• Required Qualifications:
• 5 years of leadership experience in high-speed food production or packaging
• Must be ablet to be onsite at HSD facility in Lewisburg, TN, Monday- Friday
• Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven operation
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, food production processes, packaging operations, and finished goods management
• Working knowledge of food safety systems, GMPs, HACCP, and regulatory requirements
• Experience using KPIs and performance data to drive operational improvement
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for analysis and reporting
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (strongly preferred)

Preferred:

• Experience with ERP, inventory, or cost systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience in refrigerated, frozen, or temperature-controlled food environments
• Ability to work on the production floor for extended periods, including lifting 40–50 pounds and working in hot and cold environments
