HOMEstretch is a home services company that helps homeowners and real estate agents prepare their homes for sale by providing one solution to remove junk, paint, landscape, install flooring, and clean. As we continue to expand our services, we're looking to add an energetic Business Development Specialist with a proven sales record to join our core team and contribute to our market in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as provide additional support to our Charlotte, DC-MD-VA, and Phoenix markets.
Position Overview:
Are you ready to take on a ground-floor opportunity and work directly with our local team to continue to build our thriving market? As a Business Development Specialist, you'll be responsible for cultivating partnerships with key realtors and real estate brokerages. This is your chance to make an immediate impact on our emerging business in the home preparation space. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for expanding business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing strategic plans, and leveraging internal tools to maximize business potential.
What You'll Do:
- Develop relationships with real estate agents and work closely with clients to conduct consultations and provide expert advice on making homes market ready.
- Network within the community to raise awareness of HOMEstretch and our services.
- Secure office presentations with real estate agents and referral partners.
- Drive sales and business development efforts by introducing our services to Cleveland-area real estate agents.
- Collaborate with our Director of Strategic Growth & Realtor Relationships, and Corporate’s Director of Brand and Marketing to implement effective local marketing strategies.
- Partner with our Owner, General Manager and team to build and shape the market - this is a ground-up position with a direct impact on our success.
- Conduct client consultations at their homes, discussing their needs and how HOMEstretch services can enhance their property.
- Assist in crafting service quotes and follow-up with clients to finalize deals.
- Lead, develop and implement an effective marketing strategy to use and expand our existing social media platforms, tools and resources.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven track record in sales or customer service roles.
- A ‘people person’ who excels at building relationships and enjoys connecting with others in person and over the phone.
- Punctuality is a must - we pride ourselves on being on time for every client meeting.
- Excellent communication skills, with a rapid response to client inquiries via phone, text, or email.
- Knowledge or eagerness to learn about home preparation services, including the latest design trends, painting recommendations, flooring options, and cosmetic improvements.
- Real estate field experience is a plus.
- Enjoys solving problems and working closely with clients to meet their needs.
- Comfortable in a start-up environment where agility and initiative are valued.
- Highly motivated and proactive, always seeking solutions to challenges.
- Experience with Monday, Google Workspace, and PhoneBurner is a plus.
