What You’ll Do
Drive New Business
- Prospect and generate new leads through networking, referrals, and outreach
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Conduct on-site consultations to assess client needs
Manage the Sales Process
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and client presentations
- Follow up on leads and bids to close sales
- Negotiate pricing and contracts within company guidelines
Build Client Relationships
- Serve as the primary contact throughout the sales process
- Develop long-term relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services
Coordinate Projects
- Collaborate with operations and production teams for smooth project execution
- Communicate scope, timelines, and expectations clearly
- Participate in job site meetings as needed
Stay Market-Aware
- Keep up with industry trends and seasonal opportunities
- Understand competitor offerings and positioning
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Education
- 2–5 years of sales experience (landscaping, construction, or related field preferred)
- Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
Skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Confident in presenting proposals and closing deals
- Working knowledge of plants, materials, or landscape services
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
Work Environment
- Combination of office work and field/site visits
- Valid driver’s license required
- Occasional evenings or weekends as needed
