What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker Ice Cream position at Homestead Creamery?
This is a full-time position. The primary scheduling needs of this job are M-F 6am-2:30pm. Occasional overtime, weekend and holiday work may be required as job duties demand.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be a self- starter
· Must be able to communicate well
· Must be reliable and responsible
· Must be enthusiastic , energetic, and outgoing
· Ability to stay in motion and be able to lift 50 pounds
· Must be able to work well with others
· Must be able to multitask
MINIMUM DUTIES:
· Ability to operate production equipment
· Ability to check quality of finished product and load into storage unit (crates\boxes)
· Ability to lift and move finished product from production floor to storage freezer
· Maintain a sanitary environment and use sanitary practices
* Must be able to work in a cold environment
· Must abide by good manufacturing practices and proper uniform requirements
