Job Summary:
We’re looking for a reliable and hard-working Yard Specialist/Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-role position includes helping organize and load materials in the yard as well as safely delivering building materials to job sites using company vehicles. You’ll be an important part of making sure our customers get what they need, when they need it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials using forklifts or by hand.
- Assist in pulling, staging, and organizing materials for outgoing orders.
- Verify delivery tickets and ensure accuracy before leaving the yard.
- Maintain a clean and safe yard, keeping materials stored neatly and accessible.
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver lumber and building materials to customers.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Provide friendly and professional service to contractors and homeowners.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in all weather conditions.
- Forklift experience preferred (we’ll train the right person if needed).
- Previous experience in a lumber yard or construction-related field is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
