Duties
- Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance
- Sort, load, and unload laundry materials with care, applying manual handling techniques to prevent damage or injury
- Handle materials safely during washing, drying, folding, and transporting processes while following strict safety standards in production environments
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas through regular cleaning and organization to promote a safe working environment
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving large loads or bulky items using proper techniques and equipment
- Monitor laundry cycles closely, ensuring fabrics are cleaned thoroughly without overloading machines or causing damage
- Keep detailed records of laundry processing times, materials handled, and maintenance needs for equipment upkeep
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning and laundry operations within a hospitality or hotel setting is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of materials handling and manual handling techniques to ensure safety and efficiency
- Knowledge of safety standards applicable to production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to operate industrial dryers and dry cleaning machinery with precision and care

- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing during shifts
