Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of crawlspaces to identify water damage, mold growth, fire residue, asbestos presence, or other hazards.
- Perform cleaning tasks including debris removal, mold remediation, carpet cleaning, and general sanitation to prepare spaces for restoration.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as Xactimate for accurate damage assessment and documentation.
- Apply safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and following all safety guidelines during operations.
- Assist with flood restoration, water damage mitigation, fire restoration efforts, and asbestos abatement as needed.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site visits and emergency response coverage; be ready for on-call situations requiring immediate action.
- Support emergency response readiness by participating in on-call coverage for urgent restoration needs or hazardous situations.
Experience
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety protocol adherence and proper PPE use during hazardous or sensitive operations.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques, mold remediation processes, fire restoration procedures, and flood recovery efforts.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and Xactimate estimating software is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients during stressful situations.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of asbestos abatement procedures or experience with respiratory protection protocols is a plus.
