Role Description
- This is a part-time remote role for a Short-Form Content Creator (UGC On-Camera)
Homeschool Resource Co. is hiring a Short-Form Content Creator to create original video content for our social media platforms.
This role is for someone who creates the content from start to finish — ideation, filming, and light editing — not just editing existing footage.
You will be creating:
- UGC-style videos
- Faceless content
- Talking head videos
- Static posts & daily Stories
All content should feel organic, relatable, and community-driven, not overly polished or corporate.
- Create original short-form video content (Reels & Shorts)
- Film UGC-style, faceless, and talking-head videos
- Create 3 feed posts per week (primarily video)
- Create daily Instagram Stories (polls, reposts, promos, engagement)
- Write hooks and on-screen text
- Light editing for clarity and flow (not cinematic editing)
- Follow brand voice, content themes, and content strategy
- Proven experience creating short-form content (not just editing)
- Comfortable filming yourself on camera and/or creating faceless UGC
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels culture and trends
- Ability to create content that feels authentic and conversational
- Experience with Christian and homeschool-related content is required
This role is not for video editors who only work with provided footage. Applicants must be able to film original content.
