Homeschool family needs a teacher, assistant, guide

Job Summary

A dedicated homeschool family is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate teacher, assistant, and guide to support their children, ages 7, 10, and 12, on their educational journey. Duties

• Helping students think through lesson questions
• Keeping kids stay on task
• Encouraging learning in engaging ways
• Creating a fun and productive environment
• Montessori and/or nature-based training or experience is a huge plus, as we have many Montessori materials available to use and live in a farm.
• Communicate regularly with parents about students' performance, progress updates, and curriculum adjustments

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and diverse learning styles adaptability
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage dynamics in a multiple-age setting
• Passion for working with children and supporting individualized learning journeys

The position would start immediately with a couple days a week in the summer and then move to 4-6 hours a day M-F starting mid August to the end of the 2026/2027 school year.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
