Behavioral Health Tech Job Description
Qualifications: Possess a High School Diploma or GED. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Experience: Direct Care or lived experience in addictions treatment and recovery or other related health care and willingness to participate in continuing education.
Ability: Must be able to with minimal supervision and be capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Health: Must be in generally good health and possess a negative TB screen and pass employment drug urine screen.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare bedrooms for incoming patients.
- Complete ongoing room safety checks.
- Maintain inventory supply to meet patient needs and address maintenance issues.
- Clean bedroom when patient discharges.
- Monitor patients' daily living and conduct inspections of residences to assess cleanliness and safety.
- Provide transportation as directed.
- Monitor patients' medications and document their activity.
- Maintain daily shift notes for each patient for each shift.
- Monitor and record patient activity.
- Follow the organization's policies and procedures.
- Be trained on emergency preparedness, Narcan, fire safety and CPR.
- All other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Clinical Director.
Decisions: All major policy decisions are to be made by the Clinical Director.
Supervision: This position is supervised by the Clinical Director. This position does not supervise any other position.
Availability: We are seeking candidates who are available to work full-time or part-time, including morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
